BLOGGING A STRANGER #1

In our next assignment I was assigned to have a conversation with two different strangers in real life, it’s not just about asking how are they doing and that’s it but pretty much know about their personal life, getting to know people online is pretty common in today’s world but doing it face to face can be considered scary and awkward.

In my case I’ve made a list of questions, interests and ideas and I went to the mall to have a regular walk while trying to find cool people to chat with, I’ve met a few people but I had to look for people who I can relate to as well.

The first person I found is called Ezaz from Kolkata, India he’s only 3 years older than me which is 26, I’ve entered this comic book store where I saw him and of course he asked if there’s anything in particular I’m looking for, from what my lecturer have taught me ‘you don’t start off by talking about what you need from the person you’re talking to but first you start simple and easy’ and that’s what I did, we’re both big fans of comics and especially Deadpool, so we talked about Deadpool and marvel films but then ended up asking the guy if I can have a small interview with him and he was more than happy to do it, because after a long talk we knew a couple of things about each other, so it was easy to start it off.

His name is Ezaz, he was born in 1992 in the city of Kolkata in India, coming from a very hard working family , Ezaz was one of the top students in his school he was very fond of physics, his favorite part of the day was spending extra study time at school, because he would be studying with his class mates so that’s pretty much team work and support. But for his college he studied commerce, he enjoyed college especially for the freedom you can get as a young adult but also the canteen was one of the best parts to him.

After graduating Ezaz worked in a BPO in india, providing multiple services, including customer support on many communication devices, later on he started working as a freelancer fixing and installing many types of communication devices for a number of companies in India, but then Ezaz thought of a greater change, he came to Dubai and started working for a comic book store that specializes in anything relating to Super-Heroes and pop culture, his everyday routine keeps changing because his shifts are always changing but he likes that sort of flexibility, making him more independent.

Ezaz is the only member of his family who traveled abroad to support his family including his parents and siblings, he keeps in touch with his family on a daily basis but he's working abroad for a reason, Ezaz have a dream and he’s working on it now, to build a bigger house for him and his family, he’s always looking to give his family the best of the best and that’s why he’s doing it.

For his hobbies, he sing international songs and play lots of video games. He is very friendly to people, that’s why he loves retail a lot, he consider being very close to customers will make them feel more comfortable. 

He looks up to his parents, and appreciate their hard work and dedication to him and his siblings, that’s why he’s working very hard to bring only the best to his parents and his siblings, his father have always been there for him to give support whether it’s for education, career or life in general.

Ezaz’s message to people would be to eliminate excuses, always do your best and hold every opportunity you get.
